Translator for the Croatian language

Croatian language is a South-Slavic Indo-European language. The number of Croatian speakers is approximately 5.5 million people, thus positioning this language as 95th on the world list of languages. Croatian is mostly spoken by Croats and a certain number of Croatian emigrants in both Americas, Australia and Europe. Croatian language is similar to the standard Serbian language (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian as well as Montenegrin which still has not got a full linguistic affirmation, are all standardised based on the same dialect – Eastern-Herzegovina dialect); it singled itself out as a standard language in 1991 from the Serbo-Croatian language standard. The Croatian language norm (of a different, older type) had existed even prior to the creation of the Serbo-Croatian standard.

Croatian language is the official language in the following countries: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Burgenland (Austria), CarașSeverin (Romania), in Molise (Italy), in Vojvodina (Serbia). It is regulated by the Council for Standard Croatian Language Norm. The script of the Croatian language is Latin alphabet.
